Specialist Training
|
|
|
To become a certified professional in the Rescue and Recovery Industry in the United Kingdom requires all operators undergo rigorous training to demonstrate their skills before being allowed to work on Britain’s road network.
All operators need to pass three core modules:
- VR01 Health and Safety
- VR02 Customer Service Skills
- VR03 Roadside Safety
And then can choose from the following modules as appropriate to the specific work they will be undertaking:
- VR04 Ancilliary Equipment (RTDs, Tow Poles, A-Frame Towers
- VR05 Spectacle Lift
- VR06 Transporters
- VR07 Winching (Light Vehicle Recovery)
- VR8 - 11 Motorcycle Recovery (including Handling Motorcycles, Ancilliary Equipment, Spectacle Frames, transporters)
